Astros star Alex Bregman has wrist surgery after playoff struggles

The Astros introduced that third baseman Alex Bregman had surgery on his proper wrist Monday morning, ruling him out till January. 

The crew confirmed that Bregman, 27, will be capable to resume baseball actions in six-to-10 weeks and “needs to be prepared” for spring coaching.

Regardless of serving to the Astros to the AL pennant, Bregman hit simply .217/.304/.300 with 15 strikeouts in 69 postseason plate appearances. He went 2-for-15 within the Astros’ World Collection loss to the Braves, when he was dropped to seventh within the lineup.
