The Cardinals now have one among their defensive stars again, announcing on Friday that they’ve designated J.J. Watt to return from injured reserve.
The defensive finish will be activated to the 53-man roster anytime within the subsequent three weeks. NFL Network reported Watt tore his labrum, bicep, and rotator cuff along with dislocating his shoulder in October in opposition to Houston and reportedly underwent surgical procedure, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
On the time, it was anticipated to be season-ending.
That is Watt’s first season with the Cardinals after spending the earlier decade with Houston. The 32-year-old is a three-time winner of the Defensive Participant of the Yr Award and has 5 first-team All-Professional picks. In seven video games this season, Watt recorded 16 tackles and one sack with two passes defended and a pressured fumble.
